The recipe calls for smoked turkey, jarlsberg cheese, cashews, mayo, celery, paprika and sherry. Grapes too, but i’m not adding them. Not sure why sherry would be in it though?

When coming home from work today, I noticed a rabbit nibbling on some greens in front of my apartment. There was no doubt in my mind that this was a domesticated rabbit that either got loose or was abandoned by its owner. I managed to catch it and I brought him inside and placed him in a large Rubbermaid tub (about 3′ x 2′ and 2.5′ deep) with some shredded newspaper bedding. I gave him (maybe a her) a solid dish filled with a little water and a bowl of fresh parsley, celery and spinach. After getting used to his (her) surroundings, he began to nibble and ate most of the greens. He’s standing up, looking around and being curious so it doesn’t appear to be stressed.

My question is whether this will make a suitable home for a week or two until we can find his owner? If we don’t find the owner within 2-3 weeks we’re going to keep him and spoil him with a proper cage and the like. I just don’t want to spend the money right now in case we find his owner. What say the bunny experts?

Recently I bought a juicer and drink fresh squeezed juice every morning. Every morning I extract juices from potato, carrot, apple, celery, yam, beet, ginger, lemon, pumpkin, garlic, etc and drink at an empty stomach.

I heard that the raw potato and yam juice is poisonous.

Does anyone know if its true? Or if there is any particular raw vege juice that may be poisonous if eaten raw.

my kids are granola freaks, but it’s getting old. they are also tired of celery and carrots. lately they’ve been enjoying air popped popcorn, but i cant think of other snack ideas.

I was asked what is the usual stuffing we make up North and it is mainly just white bread and celery and turkey drippings, (but in my case one year we also added Black Walnuts, and that was great.) But how on Earth can you make stuffing out of Cornbread. Wouldn’t it get all crumbly?

Not sure I spelled it right. But is a chinese dish my mother used to cook. It uses a mixture of noodles,mushrooms,some meat,celery,etc put on top of rice…Awesome meal.
