i stopped having periods years ago. Had one episode of what i thought was blood in my urine. Then i remembered i had eaten beets the day before so i blew that off. Can beets be excreted through urine?

Russian simple recipies?

Hi, I want to make salads, like those ones with green peas, beets, meat etc….
And there is one with mushroom but I have no idea of names at all, you make it in the oven.
And one I think is made with cream cheese or something like that; pardon my ignorancy, I have tried them but do not know the names.
Or any other simple ones that you might know of.

If I don’t eat sugar or bread I have trouble staying “full”?

Whenever I try to eat a healthy meal - like tonight I had beets, yams, and quinoa - I feel full just after eating (I had to stop eating because I got so full of the veggies), but only a couple of hours later I feel hungry again.

If I eat something high in sugar or starch I can go hours and hours without needing to eat again.

What’s going on?

Can you grill beets?

I really like beets. I am used to canned which is ok. But, I like to grill or George Forman different types of vegetables. I am watching Alton Brown but missed most of his program about beets. Does anyone have any experience or have any tastey recipes for grilling beets?

why didnt my beets grow good?

we grew beets, onions, several different peppers,eggplants, and tomatoes. everything except the beets did great, but the beets stayed small and i dont think theyre getting any bigger. my theory is that we planted them too close together. any tips for next year? i live near detroit. (theyre actually called “detroit beets” so what gives?)
