I had this at a friend’s home long ago. It’s a shrimp and tuna pudding topped with candied bacon, candied liver, pickled beets and a dollop of asparagus ice cream. If anyone has the recipe, please share it with me.

I have asparagus, green peas, broccoli, those baby lettuce things, bean sprouts, zucchini and mild green pepper.

Any tasty recipes? I steamed them all, added salt and pepper and ate that for the last 3 days. I’m so sick of it but I still have quite a lot and don’t wanna throw them away.

I was talking to my bf when he got home from work tonight (he was working late, had to do “inventory”, which is usually at the end of the month, red flag#1) and I continued talking to him, standing outside the bathroom door as he went to pee (yes, we pee in front of each other, NBD) and I smelled a strong asparagus smell, like you do when you pee after eating it. I think he smelled it too, because he passed gas loudly and then grabbed the air freshener spray and sprayed the bathroom (since when do men EVER spray, they love the smell of their own fumes, red flag#2).

The only time we ever eat asparagus is when we go out. We tried cooking it once and it was all soggy and stringy and we’ve never done it again. And I know he can’t get it at work. I asked him if he ate, and he said, had some pizza sent in and wasn’t hungry.

So…….. should I be worried? He’s been “working later” more than usual. His paychecks are a bit higher, but not by much. Is the asparagus smell another red flag?
