I can’t find a recipe online for pumpkin cookies, brownies or bars that are NOT “cake-like.” Would love to cook up some pumpkin brownies from scratch, with the consistency of blondies — no cheating using boxes of mix, marshmallows, chocolate chips or butterscotch chips. Also, because of allergies, I need to avoid nuts. Thank you!

I made a pumpkin pie today and left it out for 4 hours. Supermarkets leave pumpkin pies out but I was wondering if I should have put it in the fridge right away since its homemade.

The recipe I need is once that when completely finished looks and tastes like pumpkin pie except it is much denser and can be cut into bars that are about 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick. There is nothing on the top, no coconut, no chocolate chips, just pumpkin pie.
Ok, the recipe should not have flour in it… It’s a really heavy “Pie” texture. Not cake.
